More Time for Fun

More Time for Fun

Last Friday night, we finally celebrated our youngest son's second birthday, and yes, only a month late.  He was born close to Christmas, and that paired with the fact that four of us share birthdays within a month of each other, well let's just say, finding an open date to celebrate took some time.  The party, while just a small family party, had to be scheduled with basketball practices in mind and with travel required from my parents and sister who live in New Hampshire and Massachusetts respectively.  On the day of the party, work ran longer than expected, and I arrived home only minutes before the rest of the invited guests.  Normally, this would stress me out.  I would be scrambling around trying to get the house in order, get myself ready and make appetizers and the meal for the party.  But not this time.  On this night I made the smart decision of having Box Bistro cater the dinner.  All I had to do was pop a few catering style containers into the oven and dinner was ready. The convenience, the taste and the fact that for once i wasn't stressing before a party, was totally priceless.  Having the ability to enjoy the time with my guests and be a part of the party, was something I don't usually get to experience.

So whether you let Box Bistro be a part of your daily lunches or dinners, or a part of your catered event, either way, I hope you too find that the time you are given back is priceless and well spent doing what you love.

Cheers to having more time for fun!
